About the PTA

Creating Meaningful Impact

“To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.”

Local PTAs, like the Bartram Springs Elementary PTA, play an important role in creating a strong community of focused & engaged families. Our PTA Volunteers:

  • Help you to be informed and involved in your child's school community;

  • Provide opportunities for students and families to build friendships and connections outside the classroom;

  • Support our teachers & staff through volunteering, supplemental funding and advocacy;

  • Advocate for policies, practices and funding that support the academic success, health, safety and well being of every student

WHAT DOES BEING A PTA MEMBER MEAN?

By joining Bartram Springs Elementary PTA you are helping to ensure a strong family-school partnership.  The PTA provides programs and free resources for members on issues and areas such as STEM and health and safety. Additionally, hearing your voices and partnering it with the teachers’ can have a greater impact when discussing topics about the school and what we can do to help our school community.

The National PTA is the largest and oldest child advocacy association in the United States. PTA is a non-partisan, non-sectarian 501c3 non-profit association. PTA’s nationwide network of volunteers provides parents with helpful parenting resources and the forum and tools to collectively influence the decisions that affect children not only at our own schools, but also across the county, state and nation.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Membership is open to anyone who supports the success of our students. Parents, school staff, grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, alumni and community supporters are all welcome to join.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

A membership with BSE PTA is $10 per school year.
